How to register

The application is a single online form in seven sections. It asks for real detail, so it is worth reading this page first and gathering everything before you begin.

Check that you are eligible

  • You are between 18 and 30 years old.
  • You have never been to Cabella before — the fund is currently only for first-time visitors.
  • You are established in Sahaja Yoga and known to your local or national collective.
  • Financial or currency barriers would otherwise make the journey impossible.

The form also asks whether you applied for Sahaj Marriage in Cabella for Ganesha Puja 2027. Answering yes does not disqualify you — it simply helps us understand your plans.

Prepare what you will be asked for

Your personal details

Full name and Sahaj name, date of birth, e-mail, phone number with country code, country and city of residence, and whether you are married.

A coordinator reference

The full name, e-mail and phone number of your local or national coordinator. If you do not have one, give the details of a coordinator from another collective anywhere in the world who knows you.

A family member's details

The full name, e-mail and phone number of a parent — preferably a yogi. We use this to confirm certain aspects of your application.

Your travel figures

Your nearest international airport, an estimated round-trip flight cost in EUR, and how much of the cost you could cover yourself (0%, 15%, 30% or 50%).

Passport and visa status

Whether you have a passport and when it expires, whether you need a visa for Italy, whether you already hold a Schengen visa, and the estimated cost of obtaining either.

A video about yourself

A 3 to 5 minute video, uploaded somewhere we can watch it — you will paste the link into the form.

Film your video

Film yourself for three to five minutes and tell us about you. There is nothing to perform — speak simply and honestly. Try to touch on each of these:

  3. 3How you got your realisation
  4. 4The Sahaj experience that made you grow the most
  5. 5Why you want to come to Cabella
  6. 6What it would mean to be in Cabella for you
  7. 7What you would take back home with you afterwards
  8. 8What your favourite bhajan is

Upload it anywhere we can open it — Google Drive, YouTube (unlisted), WeTransfer — and paste the link into the form. If the video doesn't cover everything, you are welcome to add more in writing.

What happens next

    We read every application

    A small team of Yuva Shakti reads each one carefully, together with your video.

  2. 2

    We may write to you

    If something important is missing or unclear — particularly about your financial situation — we will e-mail you and ask.

  3. 3

    We speak to your references

    We may contact the coordinator and the family member you named, to confirm parts of your application.

  4. 4

    You hear from us by e-mail

    Every applicant is told the outcome by e-mail, whether or not a grant is offered. Please check your spam folder too.
